On my app I get "Remote Features Disabled to Preserve Battery" and also "Low Battery 11.69v" sometimes other voltages. Its a 2022 and it starts perfect runs perfect.
Been garaged kept so seems kind of odd for a AGM battery to be going bad after 3 years and 40k miles.

Anyone experience this? Wonder if the battery is indeed going bad but sure does not seems like it as even after the warnings its starts strong. been doing this for the past 6 months.

Any ideas?

Your battery is on its way out. On my previous Ranger 5G Forum, it was common for the AGM's to start showing failures after around 3 years. Mine bit the dust just prior to 4 years, and yup, 3-4 years was average. And my Ranger was garaged the entire 4 years I had it.
Many of us, myself included, went with the Weize 94R AGM battery from Amazon.....a bargin at $160 with free shipping....
Be aware, AGM's will seem to work fine, and you go to start the truck next time and nothing...totally dead. Your Features Disabled feature is just giving you a heads up warning......

The battery on my 22 went out after only 18 months. That’s how I knew I had a problem. It kept going into a low power mode to preserve the battery.

Auto Start Stop (ASS) is a big contributor especially if you short trip a lot.

You could try resetting the BMS. I get that notice sometimes, since my Expedition sits for 2 weeks or longer. I'll charged it up and now drive it 2 times a week to keep the battery charged.

This is a problem with all cars and their batteries. While (traditional) battery technology has advanced to a lesser extent, it cannot keep up with the loading placed on them. I consider a battery a consumable item. If you get more than 3 years out of it, great! When it starts showing issues, replace it and move on.

My '22 has been doing the same, and I have gotten a message in my app to check the battery as well. I do mainly in town driving, if I get it out for a road trip, I stop getting the notifications for awhile, but I live in a cold climate, so I imagine they will start up again. Hoping they might warranty mine out, as I'm still barely under factory warranty, and need to get it in for some recall work.

Different things are at play.. AGM does not recover from being dead; this can happen in transit or on the lot (before your time with the vehicle). The vehicles have all these approach sensors and are constantly looking for the key; this will drain the battery. I turn off the approach light and sensors. When parking for long periods, double-click LOCK. When storing (more than a week) use a trickle charger - CTEK makes some that are easy to live with, support AGM, and sell on Amazon. If the voltage drops, run a deep battery test (it takes 4 hours, not the AZ test). This will tell you the real condition and if the battery can be "Reconditioned" with a charger or is toast..

My 2019 started acting strange with the door locks and running board not operating. Apparently the Expedition is smart enough to disable non-critical features to reduce load on a weak battery. I replaced the battery and everything went back to normal. I got 5 years out of the original battery so that was pretty good.

My 23 F250 did it for a while when I first got it, after sitting for only two or three days (I read that Ford was supplying inferior batteries) had dealer check battery two separate times, they said it tested ok, not sure what happened but after the the second service, haven't had any problems. I'm not sure if Ford sent out an update or dealership changed parameters.

I just replaced my original battery a month ago on my 2020. I was happy I got that much out of it from the response on this forum. My symptoms were touch locks not working all the time, Running boards acting weird, and the last cold day we had it went dead. I installed Autostop Eliminator (recommended!) at least that wasn't draining it at every stop. I went with Costco Interstate battery. I know some people didn't like them, but I think they are better then Motorcraft and Costco has a good warranty, even better warranty if you purchase with Costco card.

my 2019 gets that error after its been parked a couple weeks without being started. doesn't matter if the battery is on a battery tender or what. I take that as a clue to slap my NOCO on it overnight in the next few days if I'm not going to be driving it. My battery is just fine.
