If you read the fine print...(that's where the consumer gets hosed) on the third paty companies...they will tell you that they can put "surplus" parts on your vehicle. I want OEM all the time so I stick with ESP. Just saw a clip on youtube, shop owner had a vehicle with teeth broken off the flywheel. Third party covers the engine and transmission for major components being repaired/replaced but specifically excluded the flywheel . The senior citizen customer had to pay out of her pocket.

re service appointments booked out several weeks, many of the 'good' independent shops around me are also booked out weeks, this includes a shop that mostly does Toyotas, a shop that mostly does Mercedes, and a shop at a Napa store that mostly does full sized pickup trucks including diesels.
