I have a Ford Expedition 2015 with two original keys.
What is the appropriate frequency switch for this type of car?

Can I program the additional key on my own without software?

I have a 2015 Ford Expedition Limited 4x4, purchased new.

You do not state if you have the intelligent key fob , or use a metal key with a remote fob.

If you have two programmed intelligent key fobs, you can program up to eight (total) intelligent key fobs, using the instructions in your vehicle owner’s manual.

I bought a third intelligent OEM key fob and spare key from Ford, and programmed it myself. Very easy.

I have read on this forums and others, that people often have trouble with aftermarket fobs, including the poor quality made-in-China ones.

I can’t tell yo which frequency. Why do you need the frequency?

I checked the key tag that came with my Ford OEM transmitter / intelligent key: 315 MHz.

I have a 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4 with the push-button start.

I got my OEM blank key from https://www.fordpartsprime.com/ then took it to my local locksmith to get it cut. I saved a good amount of $ by doing so.

My Ford dealer cut mine for free.
