Before I get involved in ripping and tearing the dash apart ! Alot of discussion about blend door. Here is what I've got. 2003 , the AC blows cold and normal to all of the rear vents. The dash vents are only blowing outside air. I can get heat out of the dash but no cooling when temp control is turned down. I have checked vacuum hoses and even ran a smoke check and haven't found any leaks. I manually closed the hot water valve and found no difference. So, does it seem that the blend door is at fault ? Or does something else control the front temperature? Thanx in advance, however I will keep updated in case anyone else runs into this issue.

Possible culprit is the expansion valve for the front evaporator. If the blend door is stuck warm, and the heater coolant valve is open, you’d get warm to hot air. It doesn’t sound like that is happening if I read correctly. Putting gauges on the system will give more insight.
