Have the 23 Limited Stealth
Edition and my front blacked out decal has a crack in it maybe from breaking off ice from recent snow in the mountains.

Where can I get a replacement blacked out decal and how do I replace it?

Or…………. Is Ford making the whole unit including camera one replacement???

The emblem/decal/camera are 98% fine. Just a piece is missing from the decal.

Google "front emblem replacement ". It looks cracked and missing the edge. There are web sites and on Etsy that sell a decal overlay, but that probably wouldn't solve the missing plastic.

Ford dealer cracked my Explorer ST’s front emblem when they did a warranty swap of a dead front headlamp assembly, they replaced it for free but it took almost a whole day since they had to disassemble the entire front end to get to the backing. I wonder if it’s the same for the Expedition!

The entire front end needs to be removed including the engine to swap the emblem out...and then you have to program and calibrate the emblem module

Here, there, everywhere, all the time, all at once
could be considered to be a manufacturing defect
It's not a defect, but rather a "feature", hahahaha :D

Even if it was a defect, it is one that will result in Ford making close to $1K in labor fees for the repair, since you have to practically disassemble the entire front end to replace that little piece of plastic...and YES, they knew this when they designed & built it :(

PS... I know cause I asked my uncle, who is a senior designer/mfg engineer for FOMOCO....
