Good to hear that the noise is gone. In reading your mileage it is the lowest mileage I have ever seen on a 15 year old vehicle. Is it actually 18,500 or is there a 0 missing. Just curious. Thanks.

Thanks for the interest, John. Yes, 18.500+ is the actual mileage, as I bought it new. Used only for local errands.

If leaving the city limits, it is usually in this vehicle (1992 Corvette 66,600+ miles):

My wife has her own toy ( 2006 Mustang GT 35,000+ miles) which helps keep my vehicle mileages low:

Jay Leno should buy that one

You are so right, MrSticker. Used price is about $6K. Low mileage doesn't seem to influence price on SUVs.
Doesn't matter to me as I don't have much time left, and my XP isn't going anywhere.

Don, I love it, you and your wife both drive high performance v8's into your 80's! That's cool. Keep on going strong and fast!

Thanks, moose.

Both cars are 300HP auto trannies, but I think her Mustang has rear-end gears of 3:31 (or higher) compared to my vette's 2:79.
Ratios are close, but my '92 vette would not be competitive in a ¼ mile drag race with the '06 Mustang.

Any older low mileage Expys sitting in a garage in the North East for sale? Wish I didn't sell my '06.

I think you might be surprised. They are both about 14 second cars but the vette should be a little quicker than the mustang.
I thought the 92 had a 2.59 2.73 or 3.07 rear. All terrible for a performance car but the vette was going for higher top speed than 1/4 mile times, on their way to becoming an absolute supercar. They just got really expensive like supercars too.
