This is the new part # And yes you need to buy tool I was mistaken. Lisle sells a set at advance auto for $12 it’s called an OEM A/C and gas line quick connect set. You pull the blue plastic tabs out and insert the tool to release. Harder than it sounds.

A new one for my 2008 arrived today. Let me know how much those "quick disconnects" fight you.

They fight you, the two plastic connectors on the right were OK but still took some time. The metal one on the left was a royal PITA and took many tries to get off. You need to push the fuel line inward while simultaneously pushing to tool into the tab to get it to release. They go back on easy it’s just getting them off.
