Well, here is some informatiion that confirms that I did not see a fuel filter. I copied the comment, but not the drawing as it is the same one posted by chuck s. Thanks for your input, just for fun, I am gonna ask my dealer next time I have the oil changed.

Ford Mechanic: lostrider
HiCustomerthis is lostrider, it depends on the trucks build date, up to 9/15/08 the fuel filter is located on the side of the fuel tank and it is serviceable, here is a diagram of the location, after 9/15/08 the filter is part of the fuel pump and is not serviceable. hope this helps.
