So, I recently detailed my '00 EB to give to my dad, since I upgraded to a '11 Limited.

In the past month, the '00 has manifested some kind of power drain that depletes a fully-charged (and brand new) battery over the course of a day or two.

Additionally, the theft light, which normally blinks, remains solid, key-on/key-off, engine-on/engine-off.

Not sure if they're related, but curious if there's a good guide to tracing a rogue power draw.

My first impression is that water got into the Body Control Module or the key pad on the drivers door if you have one.

Start by pulling the fuse for the rear wiper motor. That was problem with mine, the motor won't park correctly and the BCM stays energized hoping the blade will park.

The BCM takes 30 to 45 minutes to go to sleep. So you will have elevated current until that happens.
