I was reading more and someone mentioned the spring rate makes the shock lift rate all funny so thanks for confirming. I might go 5100s up front but keep it at the lower .79" ring as was mentioned.

I am on the 2nd ring and after 6 months I have a fair amount of UCA to coil contact on large bumps. If you are not going to do UCAs I would not go higher that the first ring.
I bought BDS UCAs in hopes of remedying the problem but did not realize they are made specifically for Fox 2.0s and not all 2”+ lifts.
So I’ll likely just bite the bullet and get the Fox 2.0s (hoping for a Black Friday sale).
I would love to run the ICON offerings but no way I can afford them.

They came out early last year I think? possibly late 2019. Yes for the 15-17 expy.
