Hands free Liftgate

Hi all - I just purchased a 2024 Expedition King Ranch and had a question about the hands free power liftgate. I cannot seem to activate it with my foot. Does anyone else have this model with the tow package that is having difficulty activating the hatch. It works fine with the key fob and the button inside the vehicle. Thanks!

My 2022 Expedition was deleted too. It wasn't very popular and I hated it. It didn't work when you wanted it to then the liftgate would close on you while you were under it because your foot was under the sensor.

That's a potentially dangerous situation. I know, because I have it and my wife's car doesn't.

My 24 Max 4X Limited does not have it

that kick to open tailgate is another thing that works more consistently on my wife's 2016 Mercedes E350 wagon.
