Hi,
My name is Joe, and I'm an expyholic!
I have loved the expy since I first saw at the Detroit auto show back in the late 90's and said, "it would be mine" Forward quite a few years, and the wife finally let's me have one... heh
I am now on my 2nd expy since 2002. My first (you never forget your first) was a Blue '03 EB expy. Had most options 'cept DVD, captains chairs, or Nav. I loved it.
The the lease was up. Figured it was time for an upgrade. Instead of getting what was on the lot, I picked out what I wanted. A Black Expy Limited with everything, 'cept captain's Chairs (with 4 kids, and 2 dogs, need the extra seat) and Nav.
So, all is well and good for about 6 months. Then I realize, I need better sound. So, I stopped by for a new head unit. But, then it happened. I wasn't happy with just the head unit and speakers, I needed more! That turned into adding amps. But that still wasn't good enough. So, I went with an entire Alpine F#1 Status system, 4 alpine PDX amps, TV tuner, Nav, Sat radio, replaced factory POS dvd with Alpine 10.2" flip down screen.
But, it never was good enough for me.... Moohahahahaha
So, now my car is back in the install shop preparing to be a full on sound competition car.
I will post more details in the show and tell forum, but I'll make a quick list of a few features.
Alpine F#1 Head unit, and in dash Monitor.
Sinfoni amplification.
Rainbow Reference 3 way front stage.
Dynaudio rear fill
Rainbow Vandaium sub.
10.2" headrest monitors in 1st and 2nd row. Flip down screen remains.
Vortech supercharger.
Gibson Headers.
Magnaflow exhaust.
and new 22" black rims.
Lookin to have 500hp and engine when done.
I'll have pics posted when I get it back, which should be this week.
