Hello I have a 2024 max looking to add some interior floor led (brighter for 2nd/3rd row to move arround when at night….)
The kit I got is cig plug and apparently the second row cig doesn’t turn off maybe it’s constant power!?! Coz I’ve turn the truck off and there’s still power

But I would really prefer to have it added to the wiring that would turn on when my headlights turn on …. Not sure how to gain access to the 12v power for those lights… I do see the fuse location 100/101 are for the headlights but it’s coming from the engine bay(I don’t want to run a long wire from it)

Any suggestion would be helpful

If it’s anything like my expedition, all of the cigarette lighters are permanently live, I had to run wires up to the passenger footwell and connect to the fuse panel located there to have a switched 12volt.

Maybe find the wiring that goes to the interior lighting dimmer switch by the headlight switch and tap into that?

I just installed the ambient light kit from F150 LEDs in my 2021 Expy. They look great and work great. Come on when I turn on the vehicle and shut off when I shut off the vehicle. Will get some pics once it get dark outside.

I noticed on my 20 the passenger blue ambient light is out but can't find a part number to replace it.
Now we got our windows 5% and the kids say it's to dark at night so I'm thinking of adding some more lights back to 2nd and 3rd rows so they can have a little light back there. It wouldn't bother me have them on all times it's cranked just gotta find a good switched fuse spot
