Hello, New to the forum and need help with removing drivers side seat from a salvage yard. Donor vehicle is a 2000 Eddie Bauer. I need to move the seat forward to access the rear bolts, however this model has power/memory/heat seat and the vehicle harness has been hacked (no fusebox, etc.)
There are at least four connectors under the seat to the body harness. I would like to power up just the forward function to get to the mounts. Does anyone have a wire diagram or correct colors of the forward movement pos/neg wires?
Thanks in advance

I did not.
I was successful, however. I ended up unbolting the seat off of the base, so I could physically see and trace the wires to the motor from the memory module (seat was set so far back and low that I couldn't get a good look underneath).

Turns out the forward/back motor wires are: Red/White stripe and Yellow/ white stripe. Hooked a jumper to those from my cordless drill battery and was able to move the seat forward, allowing access to the rear bolts.

You can bypass the memory module, but it really helps to have the under seat harness (from switch to motors) from a non memory seat truck. They can also be spliced together but I like the ease of a factory connector.
I am putting these seats in my 1998 Expy xlt, it had drivers side power but no memory. I will be using my existing track/base motor assembly with the J/Y seat for simplicity, without the memory module it's a plug n play. They also came with heat which I will also wire up.
