I tow about 7k utility trailer most of the summer for work. The only “upgrade” I did was put powerstop pads and rotors all around. It wasn’t that the stock rotors weren’t enough power, but they got warped. We do highway construction for a living, so I’m taking a machine in the trailer in and out of the short emergency pull offs that give access to the work zones... you don’t have a choice but to be at highway speeds and stop quickly in a short distance!
Anyway, ive been really happy with those brakes and I feel like it’s a nice feeling, even if I didn’t need to tow!
