I just set my memory 3 button to tilt the mirrors if I really need them to tilt down. I rarely if ever need to see the ground and side clearance.

ABSOLUTELY! I've programed my passenger side mirror to do it, its a minor in convenience that you have to hit the mirror selection button when you shift to reverse...but the mirror will return to its normal driving position automatically when you put it in park.

just follow these directions -

Reverse Tilt Mirror Calibration:

1) Switch the ignition on
2) Press the memory button you want to setup
3) Select the mirror you want to adjust
4) Put your vehicle into reverse (R) and adjust the mirror where desired
5) Hold the memory button for 5 seconds to save the setting
6) Press the mirror button and return to park (P)
7) Hold the memory button again until saved

When in reverse push mirror button to tilt. Push it again to return it to normal position.

My wheels THANK YOU. I was really missing this feature from my other car... So you have to pick the mirror each time you want it to drop? I guess they did this to put less strain on the mirror... My other car does it every time you put the car in reverse.

Not to my knowledge. It only does the side that you press for the mirror adjustment.
