Ok guys so I just got home, before I popped the hood open I decided to try and fire it up one more time for the fun of it and it started right up!!! So I left it there and allowed it to idle for a few minutes (I drove it for a 100ft and it drove fine, I put a big load on the alternator and then turned off all accessories and it had no fluctuations in rpms)...then after it warmed up it died, almost like it ran out of gas. No CEL...

I'm starting to suspect fuel pump but the local auto parts store didn't have a fuel pressure tester in stock so I think I'll try to find out at what PSI is this fuel pump supposed to be at healthy and attempt this again tomorrow

Henry, you don't own your own fuel pressure tester by now! I was thinking about you earlier, and just for giggles, pop in another new fuel pump relay. Maybe you can swap in another adjacent one that's same amperage like Ford. Fuel pump probably fried when battery and Alternator took a dump, but might want to try cheap way first. Let me guess, wife just filled the fuel tank, hope you don't wrestle with 20 plus gallons of fuel.

The fuel pump relay isn't one of those square type you find plenty of under the hood, it's a one off kind wired in under the driver side dash, either that or I must be confused and its probably the main relay and then there for I am completely clueless where it is exactly

The internet search says it's either the one I'm talking about or its behind the glovebox and I don't think it's there

And lol no Steve my wife is the exact opposite... she drives the car constantly at 1/4-1/8th of a tank the only time she ever fills it up all the way is when I'm paying for it!

Alright I must say I am completely confused and stumped at this point, I turned the car on again 40 minutes ago and it has yet to stall... idles and operates perfectly fine too

I use to have a Chevy that had similar problems. When it heated up the ignition module would go out. After it cooled down it would run again.

I had an old Accord that I got for free from a buddy to fix up for my son. It had a fuel pump relay module under drivers side console that would cause a problem when it got hot out. It didn't die when it was running, but if it was too hot in the car, it wouldn't start. Seemed that a solder joint or something had an issue. I'm in Texas and the car also didn't have AC. My son didn't drive yet, so I used it as an emergency beater... Started fine in the morning, but if I was at work, I would have to have the doors open for 10 - 15 minutes for it too cool down long enough to allow it to start. If it was really hot and you stopped somewhere, sometimes it wouldn't start for a while there. Lived with it for a month or so before I figured out what to replace and then it was fine. Well it started fine... Still had weird transmission, electrical, and other issues. Didn't fix it up for my son, got rid of it and was glad it was gone.

My sister in law just had some gremlins in her 02 trailblazer. Took it to an automotive electrician, turns out the ignition switch was causing a low voltage situation to everything downstream of it,everything. Definitely do the low tech diagnostics first and remember that an automotive electrici specializes in just that. So if after testing everything you can with the pump injectors etc. remember that its almost always cheaper in the long run to take it to a specialist to deal with electrical than to the dealer or a shop who probably don't mess with the electrical system often.

Your gonna need to bring a spark plug tester or at least a spare plug to check if in fact it's losing spark. It's got coil on plug so no pick up coil no module to overheat, but could be a Crank position sensor acting up. Did you do fuel pressure test? How bout codes check. At least if does turn out to be pump, won't be that heavy to drop.

Ok thanks for the replies guys, I stopped by the parts store again and they had the fuel pressure tester on hand BUT I chickened out and didn't get it cause it looked way too complicated from what I'm used to using and no one in that store had the slightest clue on how to use it too lol. I'll youtube it and Google it tonight on how to use it first and try to get an understanding of how its suppose to work (the rental kit had all spin on adapters but the honda I have I know it's a quick disconnect fitting)

I'll look more into that fuel relay/main relay (it's both in one on this car appeantly) and see if I can figure something out, also I do think the ignition switch is somewhat related to all this due to the fact that I dont have the pre start chime/beeping anymore

Finally I wanted to do the redneck style pressure test yesterday but I couldn't find the filter to release the pressure, I'm assuming it's one of those built in filters with the pump in the tank
