They really missed the mark with the front end / headlight shape. It doesn't match the lines of the rest of the vehicle. To me the 4th gens look better and more refined. However with that said, I would take the newer interior and put it in my 18. I feel like this should be called 4.5 gen nothing revolutionary.

I could take or leave the tailgate thing. I did not like it on the bmw x5 so I am curious how the new expy will work out.

Here is hoping the 28 refresh looks better.

Although I don't really like the looks, my concern in purchasing would be has the build quality and reliability improved over recent years.
My very short answer is NO!!

Some things I wish they added or didnt change:

- an air suspension option, whether rear or 4 corners
- 12 way front seats(or make the air bladders standard) and memory settings for passenger
- ventilated second row seats
- hybrid engine, 2.7l or v8 option
- red paint option
- add massage seats to kr, spp packages
- make 24in wheels an option
- max for the tremor trim

All in all, thw front still looks better to me than any of vehicle in its class and the interior is more functional than any of its competitors. The view from the drivers seat doesnt look any worse than any other vehicle, and the looks over the interior is extremely over blown. I feel like in person, the dash would be very attractive.

I just bought a 24 SPP after seeing the 25’. Steering wheel lost me, also two tone rear and my Dr Pepper color is sick with stealth package. Give the 25 a few years to work out the kinks, that is way too much tech change not to have massive bugs.

I wonder if GM will make more headway over Ford with their refreshed 2025 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburbans.
