Hey Guys, thought I would introduce myself before making my first post asking for help from some expy experts on here. I have a 3rd gen that I bought with over 200k on it and I am a full time handyman/home improvement contractor so I put plenty of miles on this thing and I need it to run. My livlihood depends on it. Now I love the truck don't get me wrong, and I am a Ford man Thru and Thru. In order (and probably leaving a few out) My first car was a 85 mustang, then I had a 78 F-100 a few late 90's F-150's then I started with the diesels and got a 2001 F-350 with a 7.3 then an 03' with the 6.0 then got into the 6.7's with a 12' model 550 and a 17' and 19' 350's. A couple years ago I took my eye off the ball when life thru me a curve, as it will do and now I find myself NEEDING this 07' Eddie Bauer EL Expediton to run!! I do not take my vehicles to shops, I do all of my own work, no matter what type of repair it is. I have tools, a shop, etc. But I don't know if this thing is just wearing me down or what, I've never owned anything with a 5.4 in it and it is testing me to say the least. I will create some threads to give everyone a crack at some of these mildly infuriating situations this thing has going on, i know this is only supposed to be an introduction. So anyway, StameySays coming to you from Baton Rouge, nice to meet you fellas.

Your right your right, prolly not just fellas but also not the last time I’ll get caught failing to be politically correct either lol. And Hot, it’s always Hot here, If you would like to be uncomfortable just shoot on down here and experience what 100% humidity 24 hours a day is like! I tell myself it’s better than a blizzard but sometimes idk!

Hello - Welcome to the forum. Over the years, we've owned many cars. Most of them were older because we couldn't afford anything newer. Thankfully, I could maintain them myself as they always needed something done to them. If I were you and needed my work truck to run no matter what, I would SERIOUSLY consider putting something in the driveway that I didn't need to rework on all the time. If your truck won't run, it's not like the boss will yell at you. An inoperative truck is going to cost you money in lost revenue, not just repair costs. Invest in a newer buggy. Think of it as revenue insurance.
