My buddy just bought a surprisingly nice 2007 Eddie Bauer Expedition EL that has the Nav system but no DVD.

Forgive my ignorance but, does all he needs to do is purchase one of the many 13P DVDs we see for sale via eBay, pop it in and off we go?

If so, if someone has the right part number I should be looking for I’d appreciate knowing that.

If not, what do we need to do to get it running.

Thanks in advance

Yes, if the stereo system has the Nav system built in, you just need the DVD, but be warned, these DVD's have not been updated for several years, so even if the system works (which it should) it will not have all the latest routes.. I think the latest DVD is the 13P from 2013, so any roads built since 2013 won't be on the GPS!!
