Hi everyone! First post, just got an 07 expedition (base) from the fire marshal, so I’m not really sure what all they did to it. The keypad dosent work. I don’t want to go all gung ho into it if it’s a security reason, given the owner (maybe easy fix). So if you know anything about that that would be great! As much as you can tell me the better. Even if you know anything cool about this beast. I’m excited to mess with Ms. Bertha! If not we’ll I’m just trying the easy things the searches are showing up with. But would love to have any input!

Thanks everyone for your time!

Welcome. Nice to have you here.

Are you sure of the combination? Does the keypad leds light when you press a button? Does pressing the last two buttons together lock all the doors? If those things work, everything's most likely hooked up and working.

Well it’s pretty bright so I can’t tell but no it dosent lock. And I have those 2 cards that came with the manual so I assume. Can’t I double check the code somewhere. I am kinda just thinking the pad might be bad unless it was unhooked for whatever govt regulations and might be easy to just plug back in. Thanks trainmaster!

There are numerous you tube videos on how to get the code and it is right on the unit. You can use that to find the unit in the passenger side floor board. (only have to to remove threshhold trim and one more)
You can use that information to find unit and see if anything is unplugged.

Try the "lock" mode; press the last two buttons together. That will tell you if the keyboard is working.
