not right now, we lost our 11 year old pit/foxhound in april very suddenly he had a tumor on his spleen and it was bleeding, they said it was a cancer and very fast growing. we noticed a slight change in his energy and by the next monday he passed...about killed us.
jetta is five this year and she is just now getting back to normal, mondays are still hard on the brain and we are taking a break from any new critters. Both were/are adopt a dogs, as in they found us and decided to let us take care of them.
time heals all wounds, but his death was very unexpected.
but at least we have room in he car.

I feel your pain, I've lost 5 so far. A little puppy will bring joy and frustration back into your life when your ready. Jetta may even enjoy the ear chewing.

Hate how they don't live long. Lost last of my 3 Goldens about a year ago and still sad thinking about it. Buster, our last Golden, was 15 when we had to put him down.

peanut was a different pup, he found us in the middle of a cold February, he never shewed up anything except his toys, only had one accident in the house and it was sort f my fault, we were playing really hard when he was a pup and leaked, then ran right to the door.
My female rotty at the time was a sneaky dog, but she mothered him.
he would play fetch till he dropped and loved to lay in the sun, loved kids and pretty much anyone that would pet him.

Here’s our Lab mix Rory. We rescued her from an animal shelter about 2+ years ago. She is a great companion and has been nothing but friendly to us since we adopted her.

Since she will probably precede us to Heaven, I simply hope that God will allow her to greet us when we follow her.
