I have a 2015 Exp with the Ready lift kit, Bilstein 5100s, and icon upper control arms.

When I first lifted it I was getting the contact noise that lot of people experienced but the icons seem to solve the issue.

I started lately to get like an intermittent noise only when I cut the wheels to the right backing up or pulling into like a parking space. Like a metal on metal clank. I don't see any obvious cause.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Did replacing that get rid of your noise? I have a 2016 el and we just did the ready lift, 5100s, and new upper control arms (not icon but similar from what the shop recommended). We just picked up a noise that you can only hear when going ~20 mph and less that sounds like something is rubbing on every rotation. It doesn't do it every time, it gets worse when braking, switching from 2H to A4WD gets rid of it (occasionally).

Yes. I was probably being confusing by having two different threads relating to noise after adding the ReadyLift. First one was after the lift prior to getting the control arms. I added the control arms and that addressed that noise.

Secondly, after the control arms, after some time this new noise came up, which is like a slight clank only when I and driving slowly and turning to the right. Like in a parking situation for example.

I have not been able to identify that yet. I had one shop take a look but he could not put his finger on it either.

I'm thinking that possibly the bold on my ReadyLift may need to be re-torqued. I am looking into that.

Otherwise everything seems tight with now issues.

This turned out to be that one of the control arms was lose. Strange no mechanic could figure it out. Have to give credit to Big O Tires :)
