Yep. Get the oil changed once or twice a year and any modern vehicle should easily last to 100k.

Once or twice a year? I'd say atleast 3 times if you are driving an average of 15k miles a year.

I think there are many other components that fail besides the engine ( oil change).

Cheap OE suspension quality, sensors, electronics, sealants, poor seams on sheet metal. I’ve seen it all on newer Ford’s. Even duct taper to cover holes under rocker panels. Rusting undercarriage / rear diff covets on brand new trucks sitting on the lot.

It’s all a crap shoot.

We have a 2019 Hyundai Kona 2.0 AWD SE. Has 29,*** miles and not a rattle. Burns no oil. Shifts smooth. Paint finish shines. No rust. Original brakes. CUV is most reliable car I’ve owned ever. Go figure.

I’m getting ready to move up to 10w 40 synthetic. It’s getting real hot here and I’m having to run around 80mph.

No problem at that weight w 227,*** I hope?
