I’m looking for a diagram of the PCM pins for my 2004 4.6. I’m trying to fond the cause of my P0320 and I want to check the wire back to the PCM for continuity. My owner’s manual doesn’t have the diagram.

Have both 2004 Expedition manuals with alphabetical index.
Nothing listed as PCM PINS. Can you provide me with a complete
description?

Excuse my ignorance, but I need to know the complete name of a PCM
so I can locate the section in the manual from the alphabetical index.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. It stands for Powertrain control module

Hey @don I think the op is looking for a pinout diagram of the pcm from the wiring section of the service manual.

It's usually in chapter /cell 150, called "connector views" (though that # does change)
Older Ford wiring manuals called it C175, or C185 or there abouts. IF the PCM had more one, it would have a letter after it like C175b, etc.

Example shown Below from '93 f-series for lack of a better one.

(image removed to avoid confusion)

Op, you should check eBay for the paper evtm (wiring manual) or service DVD, they are cheap. Also, only buy the official Ford manual /DVD. The red DVDs usually have the whole model range for the lower numbered model year. So in your case you would look for a 2004—2005 dvd. You may get lucky with a 2003-2004, but in my experience, it's never the full range for the second year. You also have to turn off auto update time and roll your computer date back to when it was published.

Thanks for that. I'm diagnosing a CEL for the crankshaft position sensor, so if you have access to the wiring diagram for it that would be great. I think I have a short somewhere between the sensor and PCM causing an intermittent stall/jerking and occasional shut off in drive and reverse.
