I bought 06 Limited 4WD because my 03 Explorer Limited 4.6L had enough power but not enough weight to control my camper. It was out of a Copart salvage auction and to be honest I had no interest in it at all until I started it. So I put a max bid of $1250 in and drove it home. Took a little work $300 in suspension parts and $400 in junk yard parts. I have been using it hard for over a year with no problems. Even took it round trip to New England for a couple weeks. Always said if I'm gonna go Ford, it's got to be big. The Explorer was crap. Hated that thing.
