Miss when taking foot off accelerator?

Have you ever changed the plugs? What year etc is your Ford?

Yes. Change your plugs. The last guy was probably afraid to change them too. How many miles on it?

If you have a miss, you should get a check engine light or a pending OBD code.

If you do change your plugs, just order the extractor tool from Lisle. It’s about $75. If one breaks you can fix it. Hopefully someone changed them by now.

You can't begin to troubleshoot what may be a miss unless you know for sure that the plugs are good. You can try removing one to see how it looks, though the easy ones may have been changed and the back ones never looked at. Or you can ignore the problem for awhile and see if you get a Check Engine Light. If you never get one, you don't have a serious miss. But we all know those plugs aren't going to get easier to change as time passes.
