I have them on my F150. They stop good but do produce brake dust.

don’t mind the dust on the dark gray wheels / i am curious about the compound (i hear they’re semi metallic but what else is the compound? partial ceramic or....)

I used to get many complaints on the brake dust and they can be noisy. I wouldn’t use them, people often mistaken them for heavy duty.

That's been banned in brake pads in the USA for roughly 30 years. I would imagine most pads no longer are using this but who knows.

you are thinking of construction materials.
Asbestos is in almost every single brake pad that is not ceramic.

Exactly. We actually just banned it in brake pads in Canada finally, but the USA still allows it.
