The wife and I bought out 97 a few years back. She got a new truck and I took the expedition. I plan on doing a 5 or 6 inch lift and making more of an overland build out of it. Hey Beaver, Welcome to come to the forum. I'm doing the same type of build as your starting. You can get 35" tires with just torsion keys and spacers. I stuffed 37's with a little trimming. Good luck with your build, I'm just down in Portland if you ever want to go wheeling.
