Hello everyone! Looking for your expertise! I have a 2007 Expedition XLT 2WD with 300,000 miles and it's a daily driver! We have an issue with the ABS Pump/Module. The ABS is activating every time we apply the brakes - even lightly. The ABS light is on. Used Forscan software to read codes and it points to a bad ABS pump/module. Basically, I'm looking for a service who can just rebuild the ABS pump and module for me! Do y'all know of any good ones? I've been calling companies listed on Google and can't seem to find one who will do it! Any other advice?? Thank you in advance!!

If you’re handy with a soldering iron, look on YouTube for those who will show you exactly what needs to be checked/reflowed. Solder joints in the electronic boards, including the Cluster boards, tend to crack over time, but if you can get to it, not hard to reflow with electronic solder and a little extra resin flux, then clean off flux after repair is made. I was told I needed a new ABS module, but Ford doesn’t make them anymore for my 2010 Eddie Bauer Expedition. If you find one, it will need to be programmed before it will work correctly. Also, before searching for bad solder joints, first check every ground and power connection in your electrical system, including every fuse. Can be done quickly if you’re methodical.

I would get a good used one off of car-part.com they are generally better than any of the remans.

I have one I can sell you cheap if it will fit and you are interested. It came of an 09 truck with 130k miles, turns out it wasn't my issue.

Having a similar issue with an 09 where i have ABS light as well as a B1342 code indicating a fault in the ABS module or pump. Were you able to resolve your issue through one of these courses of action?
