Looking to get rid of our GX550 for a bigger SUV. I am leaning towards a Tremor but also considering a Platinum with SPP package. Thoughts and opinions appreciated! Not looking to off road the Tremor just prefer the looks.

Several years living with the Platinum doing lots of active life style stuff.
I would buy another loaded Platinum heavy tow again.
I have a bench 2nd row. Haul kids a bunch for scouts, sports teams and cabin trips. Captain chair 2nd row would be so limiting it would literally render my uses nearly pointless in many cases.
The CCD suspension is definitely a must have.
The “off road” marketing of the Tremor is pretty silly these are huge vehicles they are basically just dirt road vehicles and nothing more. They handle that task just fine. The locking rear diff is a big deal for these fat pigs. Gets you unstuck in spots that are not technical or overly difficult. These beasts are heavy, don’t have big articulation so that rear locker is a big deal. I got my Sequoia stuck often due to no locker. The Ex I haven’t been stuck once.
