Hello all- long time lurker here but decided to register so I can ask questions when needed.

Have this 2007 ex prescott PD SSV. Its a bare bones model with just front seats an vinyl matt. Good things is that its 4x4 and has the HD cooling and tow package.

Drove 2 hrs back home great. Changed the fluids and oils. I installed a 2.5” front spacer I had from my f150 and thats it- nothing done to the rear. I did put on my f150 18” method takeoffs Ive had in the garage. 295/70r18 and a 305/70r17 as a spare (do not like how low it sits, have not dragged it on the trails so far) I like the way it sits. Minimal trimming was done to stop rubbing. Have taken it on local rutted out trails with no rubbing and also to loose rocky uphills and so far so good. ff17d211-cbe8-4f3f-aa26-9ec099a73252.jpeg27aa2055-8f77-41ba-b3dc-98b388798acf.jpeg75c65a2c-6d07-4450-937d-784a529406d5.jpegC4B75A40-1F53-416F-944A-987603FD976B.jpeg

Heres how its currently sits- have put 300 miles on it since purchase last month and some Camping trips. Most of the stuff used has either been stuff laying around the garage or items I pickup in my friends large construction yard.
Using a repurposed work truck ladder rack thats cut down I made a zero care given roof rack to mount the shade awning and lights.
Also modified the center consul to add rear AC vents as no rear AC was given on this model. Might add a bildge fan to boost airflow if its not enough. (Have 3 girls I take camping often). And in the shifter hole mounted / made a switch panel with phone cradle.
Things to still do:
- add a front and rear light bars
-wiring for the lights
-led strip light rear interior wiring
- add a hidden winch to the fro t
- add water and trans temp gauges as extra peace of mind
-some type of water tank with heater in the back rear area were the rear AC system would go
- 2 extra batteries and a solar panel charging system for them93fefad5-d9da-4aa2-a1a2-57a998cfecd4.jpegIMG_9924.jpegIMG_9956.jpegIMG_9957.jpeg

Looks like a great truck. I've loved the SSVs and have owned many of them. That could have been a dog carrier. Would like to find a 2018+ now. They're getting harder to find as the PD's shun the Ecoboosts, so they're not buying as many.

Not sure on the dog carrier part as there was no smell nor hairs- and they did not clean it at all. Just cut the wires.
Since summer hits hard here I added some shower matte grey vinyl to the back window. Cheap and easy.

Looks great, congrats on your SSV! I got my SSV from the city of Thatcher and brought it home. Has a few more options than yours does but no HD tow and is only 2wd. I need to find a center console, 3rd row, and new headlights for it.. Surprisingly the suspension is in good shape. Currently got a leak from bad radiator hoses so those got to be replaced.

Little update on this SSV turning into an overland build.
- Got the middle counsel and gutted the inside of it to leave it all hollowed out. I added 2 buldge fans so that they push out all of the conditioned air they pull. This helps alot on cooling the back. Its a zero given setup, I used the tops from the empty coffee creamer as they are a perfect 3” to 2” reducer and there free. Not pretty but bullet proof. 7cc89fab-59c3-4762-ae8a-5e4b990426e4.jpeg
The top cover , covers all this and its turned on by a toggle switch in the bank block so you have Hi/Lo. 857dfa57-4acd-4cb6-85c1-f987af185db9.jpeg

Also add and wired up the rear seats stow/ unstow switch just for ease of confort. Also started and installed a 20 gallon water tank with 12v pump/spray nozzle for outdoor showering that just sits in the reused “armrest” holder that got siliconed glued to the top of the tank. I keep the tank filler and spray nozzle there as well as the weboost. And lastly made a mount for the rear battery with vent tube. That battery will be charged by a solar panel mounted in the top
Basket. Hope this gives ideas to anyone.
