Hey all, a lot of experience in early broncos and have a stock soccer mom max 2020 my wife drives. Joining the forum for my 21’ FX4 which delivers next Wednesday. Want to put new shoes on her immediately. My question is anyone put 305/60r18’s on stock wheels and no rub lock to lock? Will put ready lift 3/2 on soon. I’ve seen plenty 275/285/295 both stock and lifted and assume an extra 1/2”-1” width should be no issue. Looking at non LT ridge grapplers for 6 ply and less weight. Had the 275/60r20 on stock wheels on my previous F150 and road great and didn’t hurt my economy.

I just bought a '21 FX4 and the factory 275x65x18 P rated Michelins seem to be a good match on this vehicle. Good rain traction but weak off the pavement. I'm thinking about some 275x70x18 BFG KO2's 33x11 when these wear out. Stock tires ride good..getting great fuel mileage so I hate to mess up things.

I go back and forth. Don’t want to shed 36# tires for 10 ply 60+. I’ll decide after I lift it 3”.

I think a 33 inch tire that's not too wide will look good on a stock height Expy. If we get another camper I'll get LT rated tires for the stiffer sidewall and more load capacity. After losing our 5th wheel during hurricane Ida I sold my '17 F350 dually and got this for everyday use. Enjoying the ride even on our bumpy South Louisiana roads.

I’m from Lafayette. Where are you from? I agree. Maybe a little wider. Thinking 33x11.5 range. Sorry to hear y’all were impacted in storm.

The Raceland/Mathews area. We took a direct hit in Lafourche and Terrebonne Parishes. Rode it out in 150+ winds and lucky to be alive.
