I looked through other threads but didn't see the same thing. I have no volume on my radio at all. Just happened randomly. Radio works, changes channel, source, etc. but volume does nothing, once before the low volume button was stuck on the steering wheel, and I would turn it up, but it would go back to min volume in a couple seconds. This is not the same. It's like I'm not even turning the knob. Also the treble, bass, balance screen doesn't move. It's blank, or like it's in the middle and won't move. I have done a soft reset And no changes. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I did a soft reset on the radio, nothing. I unhooked the battery, pluged it back in the radio worked for a few minutes almost sounded like the signal was coming in and out and then it just went off again. It came on for a brief second when I first started it up once it. since then I haven't been able to get it to anything. All controls seem to work on the radio, going through stations even serious XM shows what song is playing and I can fast forward and rewind with that but no sound.

Now I'm having problems with the battery. Goes dead if it sits for more than a day. I charged battery while hooked up and it never fully charged. Then unhooked ground and charged, it charged to full. So I think I have a amp draw somewhere, I wonder if these are related....

Sounds like everything is working for you other than the sound amp (ACM). If you have an unidentified draw and this is not working, there could be a short to ground issue with it that is correlated.

This happened to me on a 24 Limited. Turns out the instrument I had plugged into the OBD port (Smart Data Link in Ford terms) had gone bad and it shared a fuse with the Audio Amp. Anyway, after unplugging the bad OBD device and a soft reset, everything back to working now.

Ended up being the acim module. At least I think. Currently amp fuse is out and all Is good. I'm going to upgrade to the sync 3 when i fix it. I hooked up all my aftermarket stuff. Going to use this as a opportunity to upgrade the factory stereo. I have a radio wired in just laying on the seat for now (to test amp and speakers)and everything is working as it should. I'll be grabbing the new ACIM soon.
