    i have pics of the ieffel tower we defaced in 2000
    i need to scan them in they are priceless.
    I loved my navy service, no question would have done it again, with only one small change.
    Reagan was a bad arse...he let us deliver a few nice things to Qaddafi .

    thats a whole nother story....lets just say our two carriers and the aircraft dominated, plus lots of airforce planes...we sank boats and ships..made the russians nervous, they left port of tripoli flashing lights and sending messages on the distress channel...PLEASE dont attack we are not in this fight.

    PB, I have an identical photo of the Blues flying over NYC, taped above my workbench.

    When I get frustrated when rebuilding a carb or some other project at the workbench, I simply look up at that photo. It reminds me of pre-9/11 days, and the resolve we still need to maintain post-9/11.

    PS: Nice UNREP photo you posted earlier with an oiler between the GW and a Tico-class cruiser!

    that tico class was our ship...
    impressive ship for sure,
