No sounds about right... street value and smarts wise right, but pencil pushers will overly disagree!

Next closest price was $2500 for just an engine, no harness/ecu. So I am not complaining.

Man, I dont give two rats ass about your motor but whats amazing me is what seems to be a wooden truss in a barn is the anchor for the winch carrying the damn load.... that what I'm seemingly amazed by!

Ps what is the motor donated from?

After some talk and brain storming this engine is going to end up in my 2001 7700 F150, I really wanted it in the Expedition but my mechanic buddy convinced me it'd be more fun to swap in lightning internals, convert it to propane and turbo it. He reckons with it's displacement and compression ratio cranked up it should easily male 600 bhp, and 900 ftlbs torque, more than I'd put the Expedition through with it's 8.8's and thin frame. I think it'll end up with a 4bt or 12v.

It is a particular feat of red neck engineering. Bought the winch on sale for like $45, got drunk and built it, it's done quite well.

The motor is out of a 2000 excursion under the knife for a Cummins swap.

After sleeping on it, I'm actually leaning towards the expedition again.

I'm like a woman trying to pick a restaurant.

The stupid ******* beater I got for $800 runs like a top right now, needs an axle seal.

The Expedition had a mystery stumble, checked all the egr, pulled the cai off to see if one of the fused sensors was an issue. Nothing. I'm about to swap a fuel filter and pull the intake off the block to see if it cranked somewhere that and the transmission is slipping so needs some love there.

V10 4R100 swap would cure both of my issues, keep it mild with some machined cams and a tune?

Then build the beater as a monster.

    Decisions decisions.

Well the beater had been making terrible noises so I took a wheel off to check the other day.

Yeah, can't do that with my daughter, so I spent the last week babying the brakes.

Say what you will about that Trump guy, the longer he's in office the better the Canadian dollar does. Priced out HD brakes for the price of OEM up here.

Apparently some rust resistant lair, looks cool.

That's some lipstick on a pig.
