Ok. Now my a/c issues. What is this piece I circled and should the hose I'm holding go onto that lil nipple? Thx

And this little t valve thingy. All the hoses are rotted off their nipples.

Pictures #1 and #2 are the vacuum hose from HVAC control to open or close the valve controlling coolant flow to the heater core. #3 is vacuum source to HVAC control and the 4WD IWE solenoid.
