P0011 code

11 xlt with about 230,000 miles. Got that code one time driving on interstate. Should I think about replacing the vvt on both sides? Also, if i do replace them, since the valve covers will be off, should i go ahead and change the lifters (as preventable maintenance)

That would be up to you. If you are going that far, check the cam followers & cam bushings/bearings to be sure there are no rough surfaces. Replace the oil pump with the Melling pump.
Otherwise I would replace the chain assy & parts, oil pump (Melling), crank position sensor & run some Hotshot's Stiction Eliminator with 1st oil change, then add appropriate amount of FR3 (same manufacturer) to next oil change. Excellent products that I run in all my trucks and equipment.

Thanks, I'm thinking just doing the vvt solenoids. I will check into the stuff to add in oul.
