This little gem popped up today. Once I turned the truck off and back on it stopped. Hopefully just a fluke...

Anyone else run into this?

Yep. I got the same. About 50% of the time I get this or a “sensor blocked” error.

My dealer diagnosed a faulty sensor at the front. They are on back order but should be available in the next 3 weeks and will be a warranty fix

The sooner you can get to your dealer, the quicker they can order the part

The good news is that apparently (according to my dealer) that if it throws an error like this then the fault code points them straight to the faulty sensor, so it’s an easy one for them to diagnose

Never had that issue with the shifter lever's on the column OR in my case with my 2007 EB in the console ,HEY FORD,HOW ABOUT KEEPING IT SIMPLE STUPID AND STOP WITH ALL THE CUTSEY HIGH TEC CRAP THAT FAILS, I was thinking about a new one but as I read all the BS issues people are having with new ones starting 3-4 years ago on this site why bother and all one has to do is go to the top on this current issue of , Last week's most popular topics. (from Ford Expedition Forum), AND READ, Then the paint is starting to blister and fall off on my 2007 EB's back Aluminum hatch which has been an issue going back to my son's 2005, he now has a 2014 and we will see if that has been addressed, BUT NOW FORD is using an ALL Aluminum body, REALY!!!, Guess I'll wait a couple more years to see how the paint BS works out and then get a 4 door long bed F-250 with pushrods and NO BS CAM PHASERS , https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-ca...9/ford-super-duty-73-v8-engine-details-specs/ .
