Good for you!! I did all of my own work from 2000 (when I had gained enough knowledge to be able to) until recent years. I still do the maintenance on all of our vehicles, but try to avoid the heavier work. The years of doing the work associated with racing (upgrading breaking fixing) 2 cars took its toll and so did the fact that I'm older now.

Several hours of fighting with the driver side then finally getting to this side... That's what's left of the passenger side spring seat. Ejecto seato! Also got the IWEs off... As far as I can tell they hold vacuum, so I don't know why they were engaged

Yeah salt isn't kind to these things. I'm only putting necessary work into mine and driving it until the wheels fall off. If the body wasn't disintegrating, I'd keep it. It's not even the frame at this point which is strange...
