Does anybody have a secret to keep your phone from sliding off.. Pretty stupid design to be at an angle with nothing holding your phone there but some rubber.

Thanks in advance

I have an otter box on mine and the wife has a standard rubber phone cover which both protects and is somewhat sticky enough that the phones don’t slide. I was surprised that they still charge through the covers, especially the otter box.

Get a dash mount and downgrade the bin.

I've found this feature to be intermittent with charging. When placing the phone on the pad, the "charging" indicator on the phone would light up, then a few minutes later, it would shut down. Then a few minutes later, it would charge up again. Aggravating.

The charger quickly became outdated and cannot cope with today's phones. When you pull the WACS out of the consoles there is a whole module that controls it. The on-off cycling is due to the load on the charger, heat buildup, etc.

The charger is awful, but it sounds like you are missing the part with the little shelf to hold it in place. In truth you are only missing out on using the slowest wireless charger ever built.

Hi Joneser - I love the wireless charging feature on our Expy. I suspect the problem you're dealing with is because your "pencil holder" is missing. It looks like the photo of mine laying on the console for clarity. My charger looks like this when the "pencil holder" is in place. I don't know where you would get one, but you might check Rock Auto Parts, or Ford Parts OEM, etc. My Z Flip 7 sits on there just fine, and it charges really fast.

That pad is useless for a large phone and charges so slow it is not even worth it. Not to mention the phone gets way too hot. I removed the whole tray and put in a tray with no charger to gain useful space. I use the cigarette lighter outlet with a super fast charge for the phone now. It chargers WAY faster and is easier to use despite having to use a cord.
