Please help my Ford Dealer solve the Oil Temp Gauge Mystery

Your temp gauge is engine coolant temp which relates to oil temp. but there is no way to get actual oil temp, unless you found a 3rd party system.

No, not available. I performed the Forscan temp digits mod and there is no command for oil.
With Forscan Lite running on a smartphone or tablet, you can see lots of real-time data from the vehicle that isn't otherwise available.
Or, something like a gauge that reads CANbus data through the OBD2 port. If there's a PID for engine oil temperature, one of these outboard gauges should be able to read it. Like this: https://www.aemelectronics.com/prod...formance_gauges/x_series_gauges/parts/30-0311
