Yeah, it is actually a pretty common side effect on some Fords. Let me see if I can find the code you need to change to fix it.

Try a differant # on the turn signal. It will list 2 #'s for each amounts of flash. If one dont work try the other.

So I’m still having the issues with bambi mode. It only works if I pull out the switch for fogs and then they are on all the time. I have the code right. Is there some other line I need to change as well?

That's the way it supposed to work. The fogs won't turn there self's on at night, atleast not that I'm aware of. Bambi mode just allows them to stay on, when you turn on your hi beams. Other wise they would go off, as soon as hi beams come on.

Are you saying the fog lights are always on regardless of the headlights?

My fog lights are set as DRLs and are on all the time the engine is running, and the truck is in gear. They switch from DRL mode to Fog mode when the headlights come on. DRLs shut off when the headlights come on. To use the fog lights as fog lights with the headlights on requires the switch to be on (out) and if Bambi mode is set the fog lights stay on all the time the headlight lights are on, low or high beams.

Fog lights as DRL and Bambi mode set:

Headlight switch in (fogs off)
Daylight -- Fogs run as DRL
Night -- Fogs off

Headlight switch out (fogs on)
Daylight -- Fogs run as DRL (same as above0
Nights -- Fogs on all the time the headlights are on (Auto in my case).

Ok good to know. I misunderstood. I thought they came on with the high beams even if you didn’t have the switch pulled out for the fogs. Then all is good.

I have not messed with the turn signal anymore and may not. That one isn’t that big a deal to me. Thanks for all the help!
