Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to set a different idle speed in the PCM with Forscan? If yes, how?

If not in Forscan, how about with the dealer software?

I've given up on finding a cure for the slight erratic idle shake I've been chasing (new OEM plugs coils, PCV valve, new IAC, clean EGR, motor mounts new, new hoses, no codes, no leaks found w smoke) and at 750, the motor runs smooth.

Thx

No idea what year you're talking about, but using a good diagnostic program should tell you where the miss is. My bet is a bad (new) coil or plug.

Not sure about changing the idle speed. Maybe someone else knows.

It's an '04, 5.4. I just bought a new scanner with mode 6 capability and will try that, but am still curious about manipulating the IAC.

Yes. In my quest, I replaced basically every vacuum hose, including the ones you can't get to without the intake manifold out, when that was replaced.
