I look at the forum here just about every day, most days twice a day.
I try to look at the issues people are having with their older Expeditions as mine is a (used with 80,000 miles on it when I bought it) an older one, too, a 2014. I figure, maybe one day, mine might have a similar issue and hopefully I might remember something about it.
But I see all the issues people have with the newer ones. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like there would be a lot more wear/tear/maintenance issues on the older ones like mine than the newer ones with way less miles on them. If you spend a few days counting issues with old ones vs. issues with new ones posted by forum members, maybe that will help you make a decision.
