I haven’t ordered parts yet. I figure open it up a bit, see what actually happened, then go from there. Once the valve cover is off, I’ll see if there’s anything amiss inside before taking it further. I’m betting on cheap timing parts, but don’t want to overlook the possibility that valves and/or other valve train parts were collateral damage.Did you order any parts yet ?

You'll also need a power steering pulley puller kit . Harbor Freight has one for $20 that works well.
