My 2010 Ford Expedition high pressure line is leaking, but before I replace it I also have a small issue with the rack and pinion macking very small gringing noise sometimes over bumps and also when you rock the steering wheel back and forth.
I went and check today and there is some play with the shafts of the rack and pinion. I replaced the inner and outer tie rods on both sides maybe 9 or 10 months ago.
I found 2 videos that show the problem. My question is should I buy a new rack and pinion or is this fixable?
Is there an option to adjust the preload to help tighten up the steering?
