Good day,

I just swapped the old thermostat with a spd170. Im trying to figure out what temps the low fan and high fan kicks on? Im trying to control it with forscan but for some reason its not allowing me to.
right now idle im at 180 with a/c full blast 72' outside. When im on crusing it will sit around 190-195. 215 high when getting on it.

Sounds like the temps you are seeing are pretty good. How are you trying to adjust the fan controls through Forscan? What year/model?

I have been trying to figure it out. Most likely it will have to be done with a tune or FDRS. There's no table or chart on forscan.

UPDATE: 2/19/25
I'm still trying to trace down the cooling problem. While on forscan. It shows the low speed fan turning on around 212*. Outside temp today was 37*. I tried to see if the fan would come on with the ac on. Oddly for some reason it is not. I dont know if has to do with the outside temp. I attached the forscan reading bellow. But the low speed will kick on at 212* kind of to high for it to be kick on IMO. Since the operating temp should be between 210-220. Is this normal or should there be something wrong with the fans?
