I recently was having issues with my breaks and after observing mass amounts of brake fluid coming from my front passenger side caliber. My caliper was seized, so I replaced it with a brand new one (replaced the pads to), bled the lines and everything was good. Last night I went to pick up a friend and parked facing downwards on a pretty steep hill, and my truck cut off. It started then cut off instantly again. I was able to start it again and continue with my drive home. I got on the free and as traffic was slowing to a stop I pressed my break and the pedal went to the ground while making a air compressing like sound. The pedal sprung back about half way before going back to the floor and I suddenly had no brakes.
I pulled over and filled the reservoir as it was completely empty. Which resolved the issue for about 5 miles then back to empty and no brakes. I noticed that I was once more losing brake fluid on the front passenger side. I haven't been able to find any holes or cracks in the lines, leaving me confused as to why I'm suddenly losing all brake fluid again after just replacing the caliper. Any suggestions as to what could be causing the issue or where to begin?
