Replacing passenger side mirror 2018 Max

So I tried just replacing the glass on damaged side mirror and it need up breaking the wiring that goes to the blind spot detector. Looking to replace entire side mirror now. Does anyone have a vid or photos of same? Do I have to remove door panel? Thanks, Chuck

is there room enough to install a good wire splice? If you can get a good repair kit it may be worht going that rout. These mirrors are not cheap! What trim level do you own?
